Dubbi

Observations of Deformation

Volcano number:221100
Region:
Country:Eritrea
Geodetic measurements?Yes
Deformation observation?No
Measurement method(s):InSAR
Duration of observation:2005 - 2010
Characteristics of deformation:

Pagli, et al. (2014), for the purposes of investigating regional velocity fields, has looked at Envisat  InSAR data covering this volcano. They report no deformation at this stratovolcano. Dubbi erupted most recently in 1861, which was also the earliest eyewitness account of an eruption in Afar (Wiart et al 2000).
