Adriano Gualandi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge. He studies earthquakes and the fluid-solid Earth interactions. He uses satellite, remote sensing, and local networks data in combination with physics-based, statistical, and artificial intelligence tools

Gualandi was a researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV, Italy), a visiting researcher at the École Polytechnique (France), a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (USA), and a postdoctoral researcher at the California Institute of Technology (USA). He studied Physics at the University of Bologna (Italy), where he received his PhD in Geophysics with a fellowship from INGV.
