Craig Magee is a research fellow at the University of Leeds and specialises in integrating geological and geophysical techniques to understand the emplacement of magma and associated host rock deformation. Craig has been a COMET Associate since 2020 when he joined during his NERC Independent Research Fellowship looking at “How faults grow above dykes”.

Craig completed his PhD in 2011 at the University of Birmingham, looking at the emplacement of sub-volcanic cone sheet intrusions, before moving to Imperial College London when he held several post-doctoral positions using seismic reflection data to study volcanoes and their plumbing systems in 3D. Craig moved to Leeds in 2018.
