Erin Mills is a Remote Sensing Scientist at the British Geological Survey, focused on utilising EO data to interpret and monitor multi-hazards interactions across space and time. She became a COMET Associate in 2024 upon joining the BGS in late 2023.

Erin completed an undergraduate BSc degree in Physical Geography at the University of Edinburgh in 2022, and obtained MSc in Cartography from the University of Glasgow in 2023. Her interests include integration of EO into hazard perception, exposure and susceptibility, in addition to communication and vulnerability pre and post hazardous event with a focus on inequalities such as illiteracy and colour-blindness.
