Lucy Sharpson joined COMET at the University of Leeds as the research and event coordinator in 2017. Lucy is the lead on managing the complexities of supporting COMET as a multi-institutional Centre. She is an expert in the promotion of COMET’s research and events including COMET’s yearly meetings and any international events held or attended by COMET members. She is also the research and event coordinator at CPOM, a second National Capability Centre.

She has over 20 years of experience providing high-level administration support to Directors and Executive Members. Additionally, Lucy has over 10 years’ experience of working within a research environment in a Higher Education Institute and supporting research activity.
