Milan Lazecky started his role at the University of Leeds in October 2018, following development and expertise in the field of InSAR since completing his PhD in 2009 at the VSB-TU Ostrava, Czechia where he monitored mining subsidence and later prepared a nation-wide Sentinel-1 InSAR processing system. He currently uses and develops satellite InSAR primarily to measure tectonic and volcanic deformation, closely collaborating with other COMET researchers and doctoral students.
