Pedro Espin-Bedon is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Leeds. He completed his PhD at the University of Leeds in 2025, where he used satellite Earth observation data to study surface deformation in Ecuador, focusing on tectonic, volcanic, and anthropogenic processes. Since 2020, he has been a member of COMET.

During his doctoral research, he collaborated extensively with international scientists, particularly those at the IG-EPN in Ecuador.

Since May 2025, he has been part of the DEEPVolc project as a Research Fellow in InSAR Processing and Volcano Deformation, working on the development of high-resolution time series of volcanoes worldwide.
