Sarah Boulton is a Professor of Geohazards at the University of Plymouth and a COMET associate. She gained her PhD from Edinburgh University in 2006, taking up a lectureship at Plymouth the same year and subsequently being promoted to Associate Professor in 2018 and Professor in 2024. Sarah uses a field and remotely sensed data to investigate landscape responses to geohazards specially earthquakes, landslides and tsunamis in tectonically active landscapes worldwide.
