Areas of Expertise: Earthquakes and volcanos

Siyuan Zhao is a research fellow in the Institute of Geophysics and Tectonics at the University of Leeds. Siyuan completed his PhD at the Australian National University, and he has worked there for two years as a research officer working on government-funded nature hazards projects before he moved to Leeds and joined COMET in 2024. His current research focuses on using satellite Earth observation data to investigate the interactions between seismic and volcanic activity.
