Observations of Deformation
Volcano number: | 341093 |
---|---|
Region: | Mexico and Central America |
Country: | Mexico |
Geodetic measurements? | Yes |
Deformation observation? | No |
Measurement method(s): | InSAR |
Duration of observation: | 2003-2007 (Envisat InSAR), 2007-2010 (ALOS InSAR) |
Characteristics of deformation: | No deformation was observed at Los Humeros in a regional ALOS survey of Mexican volcanoes (Chaussard et al., 2013). An Envisat survey of the geothermal field at Los Humeros observed that atmospheric phase contributions dominate the interferograms and mask any deformation signal (Carrasco-Núñez et al., 2015). |
