Characteristics of deformation:

Mt. Kilimanjaro has been occupied by 11 or more GPS stations for the purpose of observing the stratovolcanoes glaciers (Thompson et al., 2002) or height determination. There have been no published results on deformation. The last known eruption at this volcano is unknown.
